The clinical dose for using this for depression is around 6 grams (6 pills). For bi-polar use 9-10 grams/pills. Try it! A psychiatrist told me about the study (Harvard I think). I have been taking Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega Softgels - 1000 mg three times a day - as recommended by my family physician for about two years. Within three months, he noted a definite decrease in "my numbers". Will continue taking until he tells me "my numbers" are too low!
