I'm not sure where or if you studied math, but your numbers are completely wrong. The label clearly states this product contains 800mg of Omega-3 oil. Of that total 360mg is EPA and 240mg is DHA. It also contains 200mg of other Omega-3 for a total Omega-3 content of 800mg. As for the 18/12 number it's pretty easy to see that that is the same ratio as 360/240. It's also quite obvious that your claim that the 18 and 12 are percentages of Omega-3 is incorrect. EPA, at 360mg, is 45% (not 18%) of the total 800mg Omega-3. DHA, at 240mg, is 30% (not 12%) of the total Omega-3. And then, of course, if you add that 45% and 30% you come up with your own magic number of 75% for "pharmaceutic" grade fish. You are also misinformed about the FDA regulating numbers on the labels. 5.0 out of 5 stars Best I've had in 15 years of supplementing!, March 22, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?)
This brand leaves no fishy breath or smelly burps! I can swallow it without gagging due to the smells other brands have. My husband had the same thoughts as one of the lower rating customers...... Until I pointed out the same thing. Best quality of fish oil I've found so far. I even recommend it to my family, friends, and patients.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, May 26, 2012
I have used this product for 4+ years. It has one of the highest amount of EPA/DHA per capsule of the products out there. It is from small fish to minimize any mercury content. The capsules are thick and I do not get fish burps.
